My mother told me to go to school,

I thought she said to go shoot pool.

So it wasn't cool to shoot pool,

when I should have gone to school.

Came about looking like a fool,

so it wasn't cool shooting pool.

Came about feeling like a ghoul,

finally went to school.

Learned a lot and it was cool,

now I'm at the top, to rule.

Mom was right about school,

but I still shoot a little pool.
